Vinted Members Share Frustration Over Size Updates
Shoppers are voicing their frustration following a change that caused listings displaying inaccurate size information.
This online marketplace has updated its sizing categories for female and kids' apparel failing to inform every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors have taken to social media claiming that product pages now present a different size category than originally posted as a result of the reclassification.
The company said the new system was more in line with similar services.
They have suggested members to check their listings and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, causing user dissatisfaction.
Sizing System Updates
Earlier, the sizing featured one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range such as S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was previously a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Member Experiences
One content creator, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Another user, from Glasgow, stated items she posted featuring size 14 markings were appearing on the platform as size 20–22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, located in England, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and platform income has been essential for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Marketplace Information
The app has more than 100 million users, with 18 million British users.
It has become a favored option compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time that an unexpected update on the platform has faced criticism: last year, the service retracted a modification to its shipping options following member complaints.
